INTRODUCTION TO ALL-STAR CHEER FOR BEGINNER ATHLETES & FAMILIES
Because we know that athlete safety knows no season, we're offering your family new ways to train and prepare for all-star cheer in 2020-2021. Throughout the month of June 2020, we welcome your child to attend "Camp Haven." Training will include 2/sessions per week (Monday and Thursdays). Our staff will focus on transitioning athletes back from the Covid-19 pandemic break. Camp Haven will be a non-commitment opportunity for new and returning athletes to practice technique and build endurance to perform current skills. Participants will also work on drills for new tumbling skills for the chance to "level up."
Teams will be announced on Sunday, June 28th and registration is set for June 29th-30th.
All-Star athletes from programs throughout the United States must create and maintain a profile with the United States All-Star Federation by 8/1/20. A link to apply and/or renew is listed below.
Our goal is to provide more opportunities for our athletes to compete and perform. It is our philosophy that experience is a valuable component in developing confident competitors. We will compete at local events (1-hour radius of Washington, PA) from November thru April. Teams earning a "bid" will have the opportunity to compete at 1 or 2 travel competitions after the regular season.
Our Youth & Junior teams will work toward a goal of earning a bid to "The One" Finals. The Youth team will compete in Sandusky Ohio March 27-28, 2021 and the Junior team will compete in Orlando, Florida on May 1-2, 2021.
All of the Cheer Haven staff members are Safesport Certified. We are proud to be a USASF member gym.
All USASF members must comply with USASF Safety Background Checks and the policies of the U.S. Center for SafeSport.
Our teams will practice 1 weekday during the summer months (June, July & August). Choreography camp will be July 21st - July 27th 2019. Beginning August 1st, practices are mandatory.
September thru March will include a weekday and weekend practice day for all teams.
Our Prep Teams practice 2 days per week beginning in July. Monthly tuition includes a total of 3-hours per week for training.
The training schedule includes 2 weekday (Monday & Thursday) practices for our Mini, Youth & Junior Age Prep teams. Adjustments due to holidays and competition schedules will be announced in advance via email, or the Group Me communication App.
